Nau mai, haere mai, welcome.

Welcome to Bridge Park Bowling Club, the friendly, family club under the Mangere Maunga. Here you’ll find we’re much more than a bowling club, we’re a real hub for the Mangere Bridge community as you can see on any summer Friday evening when neighbours get together for our world famous (in Mangere Bridge!), fun, Friday Night Bowls.

Neighbours love the relaxed atmosphere, they can wander up to the club on a warm summer evening with the kids, enjoy a competitively priced drink while they bowl, have fun chatting to their opponents (often their neighbours) and then enjoy a bite to eat afterwards in our well-appointed clubhouse. They know Friday Night Bowls is a great way to kick-start the weekend – the booming numbers are the evidence.

As well as the social bowls fun, we’re a club that punches well above our weight in competitive bowls achieving very successful results in Auckland and National events. For our competitive bowlers we host regular Tuesday tournaments as well as a host of tournaments in multiple formats across the season.

Talking of seasons, unlike a lot of bowling clubs, ours is not limited to playing just in the summer months. We have worked hard to ensure that we can offer all our bowlers, be they competitive or casual, the most up-to-date artificial green in Auckland. It means you can play in pretty much any weather. We are one of a very few clubs in Auckland who have floodlights, meaning you can play well into the evening.

You will find that bowls is brilliant fun to play and that we’re a low-cost club to join – our 1st Year Membership is only $60 per season and Social Membership is just $35. Where else can you get so much for so little? Not only that, but if you’re a new member or a casual bowler we’ll even provide the bowls for you to use. And we’ll also provide you with free coaching to improve your skills.

Any club is more than just the playing surface or the equipment, it’s about the people. At Bridge Park Bowling Club you’ll find that we’re like everyone else in the terrific suburb of Mangere Bridge; genuine, honest, hard-working Kiwis who like a laugh and who will respect you whatever your race or gender.
